Dr. Karen Katz grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ and is a graduate of Fair Lawn High School Class of 1984. She attended college in California, but completed her undergrad degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Katz went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ and graduated with a DMD degree in 1993. Post graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Dr. Katz started her dental career as a dental associate in Roselle Park, NJ and began her private practice in 1996. To maintain a stable work/life/family balance, she chose to open a home/dental office in Wayne, NJ.  This allowed her to raise her children while still managing a thriving dental practice. She has three daughters who were born and raised in Wayne and went through the Wayne Public School system. Dr. Katz believes the foundation for better dental health is based on mutual trust, respect, communication and understanding between her, her staff and her patients. Her practice provides quality dental care with honesty, and excellence, in a calming and comfortable environment.
